Job Description:
Stratum Health System, the holding company for Tidewell Hospice and affiliated healthcare companies in sunny Southwest Florida, is seeking a Vice President, Learning and Organizational Development to guide colleague development and leadership education for Stratum’s companies.

The Vice President, Learning and Organizational Development, is responsible for assessing Stratum’s needs and leading the design, implementation and monitoring of organizational performance and engagement. The successful applicant also will define the metrics and methods by which Stratum tracks, monitors and measures its progress in development and leadership.

Applicants must have an advanced degree in Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources or related field is required. A minimum of seven years’ experience in learning and development or organizational development is required. Also, a minimum of five years’ experience leading professional-level staff and a minimum of five years’ experience in a healthcare environment are required. CPLP, SHRM-SCP and/or SPHR credentialing preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
Educational/Professional:

1. Advanced Degree in Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field required.
2. A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in learning and development or organizational development required.
3. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience leading professional-level staff required.
4. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a health care environment required.
5. CPLP, SHRM-SCP, and/or SPHR credentialing preferred.
6. MBTI, Hogan certifications preferred.

7. High degree of competency with adult learning concepts, practices, and procedures including the design of instructor led & web-based training.
8. Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
9. Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
10. Demonstrated competency to assemble grant material for submission and required reporting.
11. Ability to travel as needed, including but not limited to, the Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, Desoto, and Lee and Collier counties.
